In 1996 Ruth Ward Heflin, who has gone on to be with the Lord, had this Prophetic Word for Alabama:

“Come and go with me to Alabama, for I shall make the state a beautiful way. I shall rise her up, and the wind of God shall blow up on her and through her the many shall come alive with my love- and I, the Lord, shall be a blazing fire running through Alabama.

Alabama, know ye this- that even now- the winds of God that blow up on thee shall be the power of God that sets many free. For I, the Lord, shall run through you, run with my power, run with my joy and run with strength and bring people out- and they shall come out in the strength and witness of my glory and the blessing and fire of my Spirit- and they will say what they couldn’t say before.- and do what they couldn’t do before- and be who they have never been before- and they shall be naturally supernatural and work the works of the impossible and turn the heads of the children of men.

Listen to me- keep your eyes upon Alabama- for I say she shall be one that will make the news and many shall come from far and wide- and they shall come in cars and planes and trains to see what God is doing. I say she shall be like a banjo upon my knee- and I will play a song in her that shall reach around the world. Come and go with me and see Alabama set men free.”

I believe Alabama is only just beginning to see the fulfillment of this Word of the Lord. On December 16, 2011, we had gathered in Montgomery for the last "Tearing Down the Strongman" - Freemasonry 50 State Tour meeting by Bill Sudduth. Prior to the meeting that evening Bill Sudduth, Dr. Eddie Mitchell, Justice Tom Parker and myself traveled down to the Capital to pray. During the ride to the capital I believed Cindy Jacobs had a Word for Alabama. Cindy referenced Amos 5:24 (NIV), “But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!” Then she called out seven decrees. Four of the seven reference a major role Alabama will have on this election and upon the turning of Nation – Justice!

1.      Alabama Cry Out For Justice

2.      God is using Alabama to bring about Major Judicial Reformation

3.      National Judicial Reformation

4.      State Judicial Reformation

5.      Alabama is a First Fruit State

6.      Alabama is one of eight states which are Key in this 2012 election of Advancing the Nation Toward Righteousness

7.      Alabama is a Revival State

Alabama’s redemptive gift is that of a Prophet. Isaiah 60:1-3 (NASB), “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; But the Lord will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” We the people of Alabama are called to be a Prophetic Voice to the Nation. Alabama is a Reformer and Justice State.

I believe that the 2012 Presidential election will shape the destiny of our nation. To elect a Godly man to lead our nation is paramount. The http://www.restoreamerica.org website asks this question; How can you know for whom you should vote? In making your decisions, let the Word of God be your guide. Proverbs 14:34, “Godliness exalts a nation”, so it is important to prayerfully seek God’s will in all political decisions. Israel invited God’s anger by selecting leaders without consulting Him: Hosea 8:4 (NIV), “They set up kings without my consent; they choose princes without my approval”. Webster said: “If the citizens neglect their duty and place unprincipled men in office, the government will soon be corrupted; laws will be made, not for the public good so much as for selfish or local purposes; corrupt or incompetent men will be appointed to execute the laws; the public revenues will be squandered on unworthy men; and the rights of the citizens will be violated or disregarded. If a republican government fails to secure public prosperity and happiness, it must be because the citizens neglect the divine commands, and elect bad men to make and administer the laws”. One of the most crucial Alabama state offices to be elected in 2012 is that of Chief Justice of the Alabama State Supreme Court. Three candidates are currently running for this office. Four additional Associate Justices are also being elected.

1.      Chief Justice Charles Malone, who was appointed in August and is seeking a full six-year term.

2.      Charlie Graddick, a Mobile Circuit Court judge.

3.      Roy Moore, who is seeking to regain the post he was removed from in 2003 over the Ten Commandments monument controversy.

On March 13, 2012 Alabama 2012 Election Primary will be held. It is crucial that you are registered to vote and that you vote in this primary. The state runoff is April 24, 2012, but for the most part our state election will be decided on March 13 in the primary. Here is a list of National and State offices that we will be up for vote March 13, 2012. Our General Election will be November 6, 2012.

What To Pray:

Pray the Seven Decrees given by Chuck Pierce, (compiled and written by Pastor Kyle Searcy), in 2010 for the State of Alabama:

1. Let there be a full-blown spiritual awakening sweeping through this state that ignites the whole nation. Let the seven-fold spirit of God be released into Alabama now. (Isaiah 11:2 Spirit of the Lord, Spirit of wisdom and understanding, Spirit of counsel and might, Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord) Let the institutions of man be shaken and let the government of God be established. Let Alabama be a magnet that draws from the nation to receive awakening in the name of Jesus.
2. Let true justice and the rule of God be established out of Alabama. Let people of kingdom understanding now be positioned to rule. Let kingdom minded statesmen and stateswomen arise. Let Alabama be known across the nation as a land where justice and God’s rule are established. Let Alabama be a model state to the entire nation in the name of Jesus.
3. Let the veil of the Bride be lifted off in Alabama resulting in a face-to-face confrontation with that which has created a wall of separation in our state. Let the deep root of division that has kept God’s people from seeing what He is attempting to do be lifted off from this region. Let the demonic hosts that have never been overthrown in this land be overthrown now in the name of Jesus.
4. Let there be Freedom Outposts that emerge all over this state. Let them be ablaze with the Glory of God. Let people be transformed as they enter into them. Let Alabama be filled with life from border to border. Let a testimony arise out of Alabama that will affect the entire nation. Let the fire of God fall and let water spring up. Let Alabama become an irrigation source to the nation in the name of Jesus.
5. Let there be an outpouring of the Spirit of God in Alabama. Let there be a sudden move of healing, miracles, signs, and wonders that breaks forth now in Alabama. Let men and women tremble at His presence and be filled with the holy awe of God. Let men and women arise and speak His word with boldness releasing conviction and awakening to the hearts of people nationwide. Let what God has conceived in the heavens in this region be manifest now in the name of Jesus.
6. Let there be a new holiness movement arising from Alabama. Let the fires of purity burn in the body of Christ and in our state. Let there be a tearing apart of that which has blocked us in previous seasons. Let a triumphant remnant people arise and put on strength in this hour. May Alabama be awakened to righteousness in the name of Jesus.
7. Let the alarm be sounded and the people of God awakened to release an evangelistic harvest of souls discipled to walk in the fullness of the Kingdom in Alabama and throughout the nations of the earth in the name of Jesus.
